[Thursday 29 October, Finsbury Park] Full casting and creative team has been announced for the UK premiere of Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley, Park Theatre's Christmas production in Park200, running from Wednesday 2 December 2026 to Sunday 10 January 2027, with a press night on Tuesday 8 December.

Produced by Park Theatre and Adam Blanshay Productions, the production reunites the team behind last year's Christmas hit Dracapella. Following a sell-out run in Chicago, Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley receives its UK premiere directed by Sarah Meadows.

Written by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon, the festive comedy returns audiences to the world of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, this time through the eyes of its most overlooked sister.

Taking on the title role is Chloe Wade, whose screen credits include Emmerdale (ITV), Doctors (BBC) and Upgraded (Amazon Prime Video). An actor, writer and theatre-maker, Wade is also the founder of Chloe Wade Productions and the writer of As SHE Likes It, which toured the UK in 2024.

Joining Chloe Wade in the cast are Keaton Guimarães-Tolley (Francisco de Nata, Underbelly at Edinburgh Fringe and Soho Theatre; Mother Courage and Her Children, Shakespeare’s Globe) as 'Arthur de Bourgh', Nadi Kemp-Sayfi (Sherlock Holmes, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre; Eastenders, BBC) as 'Elizabeth Darcy', Cash Holland (A Raisin in the Sun, Lyric Hammersmith; Red Eye, ITV) as 'Jane Bingley', Jack Michael Stacey (Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, Netflix; Poldark, BBC) as 'Fitzwilliam Darcy', George Rowlands (An Inspector Calls, touring; The Truth About Blayds, Finborough Theatre)  as 'Charles Bingley', Kara Lynch (Finding Emily, Working Title Films; We Live in Time, A24) as 'Lydia Wickham' and Yasmine Meaden (The Crown, Netflix; It’s Gonna Blow!, Pleasance Theatre) as 'Anne de Bourgh'.

This Christmas, return to the world of Pride and Prejudice... but from an entirely different perspective.

At Pemberley, the Bennet family reunites for the festive season. While Elizabeth and Jane seem to have found the lives they were always destined for, Mary Bennet remains trapped by the role everyone has written for her: the awkward sister, the afterthought, the woman no one expects to surprise them. That is until Lord Arthur de Bourgh arrives for the festivities, offering Mary the possibility of a wholly different future.

Smart, funny and emotionally incisive, Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley gives Jane Austen‘s most overlooked heroine the story she was never allowed to have.

Whether you’re returning to Austen or meeting the Bennets for the first time, this is a witty, surprising and deeply human play about family loyalties, old assumptions and the possibility of becoming exactly who you were never expected to be.

Producer Adam Blanshay said, “We're thrilled to have Chloe joining us as Mary Bennet. She brings a wonderful intelligence, wit and individuality to the role, and I think audiences will really connect with her interpretation of a character who has spent so long in the shadows of her more famous sisters. Following the fantastic experience of Dracapella last Christmas, it's a real pleasure to be working with Park Theatre again to bring this charming and funny play to UK audiences for the first time."

Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley is written by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon and directed by Sarah Meadows, with lighting design by Jodie Underwood, sound design by Matt Huxley, and movement direction by Christina Fulcher. The casting director is Sarah-Jane Price, and the stage management team includes Ann Bailey and Ciara Pigeon.

The production is co-produced by Park Theatre and Adam Blanshay Productions.

A DICKENS OF A CHRISTMAS – PARK90

Completing Park Theatre's festive programme, award-winning theatre company Maybe You Like It presents the world premiere of A Dickens of a Christmas, a madcap new adaptation of the lesser-known festive stories of Charles Dickens. Playing in Park90 from Tuesday 15 December 2026 to Saturday 9 January 2027, with a press night on Friday 18 December, the production is co-written and co-directed by Caleb Barron and Ellie Jay Cooper.

Goblins in church towers show an ordinary messenger visions of the future. A professor takes a ghost's bargain to forget his past. Unearthly children haunt the streets of London.

The fates of a young couple, a sickly student, an outlaw on the run and an oddball family hang in the balance as the clock ticks down to midnight.

Just another Christmas Eve for Charles Dickens…

From the writer of the seasonal classic A Christmas Carol, these lesser-known festive tales are brought to vivid life in a fast-paced new production featuring Dickens' characteristic wit, imagination and larger-than-life characters. Audiences can expect frenetic multi-roling, fast-paced laughs and plenty of Christmas spirits.

The production comes from Maybe You Like It, whose previous work has earned an OffWestEnd Assessor's Choice Award and recognition as one of The Independent's Gems of Edinburgh Fringe 2024. The company's previous productions have been described as "Ingeniously funny" by All That Dazzles and "Furiously fast, painfully funny" by The Stage.

Jez Bond, Artistic Director of Park Theatre, said: "We're looking forward to welcoming audiences to Park Theatre for two very different Christmas treats this year. In Park200, Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley offers a witty and heartwarming return to Jane Austen's world, while in Park90, A Dickens of a Christmas promises a wonderfully inventive and mischievous take on Dickens' festive storytelling. It's a joy to bring these productions together under one roof, and we hope audiences will join us for a little Christmas magic."

Park Theatre presents exceptional theatre in the heart of Finsbury Park, boasting two world-class performance spaces: Park200 for predominantly larger scale productions by established talent, and Park90, a flexible studio space, for emerging artists. In thirteen years, it has enjoyed 10 West End transfers (including Rose starring Maureen Lipman, The Boys in the Band starring Mark Gatiss, Pressure starring David Haig and The Life I Lead starring Miles Jupp), two National Theatre transfers, 14 national tours, seven Olivier Award nominations, has won multiple OffWestEnd Offie Awards, and a Theatre of the Year award from The Stage as well as their inaugural Campaign of the Year award in 2025 for their work reaching underserved audiences with Canadian/ Korean comedy drama Kim’s Convenience. Park Theatre co-commissioned and co-produced the world premiere of The Meat Kings! (inc.) of Brooklyn Heights which won the 2026 Susan Smith Blackburn Award.
