Jamie Muscato’s debut live album is a compelling showcase of his remarkable versatility as a vocalist and performer. Captured in front of a live audience in the summer of 2024 at Cadogan Hall, the album presents an eclectic and thoughtfully curated collection of songs spanning musical theatre, contemporary pop, soul and rock, brilliantly arranged by Musical Director Sam Young. From iconic theatre numbers by Rodgers & Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim and Duncan Sheik, to distinctive reinterpretations of songs by Taylor Swift, Jeff Buckley, Sampha and Elton John, Muscato brings a distinctive emotional depth and clarity to every track. Featuring guest performances from Laura Jane Matthewson and Tanisha Spring, the album reflects Muscato’s singular ability to blur genres and tell stories through song with authenticity, artistry and ease.

I wanted to capture the true essence of those performances: the spontaneous energy, the audience’s reactions, and the incredible improvisations from the band under the direction of Sam Young. I really think we bottled the magic of that room. Can’t wait for you all to hear it.”
